Read That Again: Freedom and Opportunity

A four-part worship series called “Read That Again: Church History You Didn’t Learn in Sunday School” begins on Sunday, February 1, 2026, as we turn our attention to the influence of African American leaders in the Methodist tradition. The first message in the series, “Freedom and Opportunity,” is rooted in Galatians 5:1,13-15 and features the story of Richard Allen, founder of the African American Episcopal Church.
