Easter Sunrise

For thousands of years, followers of Jesus have met at sunrise to celebrate his resurrection with cries of “Christ is risen! Christ is risen, indeed! Hallelujah!” This tradition will continue on Sunday, April 20, at 6:30 AM on the patio of Morning Star Church and online through the Morning Star app and website (mstarlc.church). This annual sunrise service will include a lighting of the Christ candle from the fire of the Holy Saturday vigil, the singing of favorite hymns and songs and a collective reading of scripture.
